Heal Brush Tool

Here in Photoshop I used the heal brush tool to improve the skin quality of the model in the photograph. This was done by selecting the tool and finding a clear patch of skin to replicate then masking the spots and blemishes by clicking over them. I also changed the colour of her eyes by using the polygon lasso tool and creating a new layer. I then changed the saturation of the eye colour to create the purple effect. I thought this task was easy to complete and worked well.

Christmas Card Task

I designed a Christmas card within Photoshop using fonts and brushes. For this, I wanted a plain and simple design as it was for a baby's first Christmas card. I chose and installed Christmas design fonts and brushes and with that created my final product. Overall, I think that I achieved the aim of the task but if I were to do it again, I would probably change the colour scheme as it is a bit bright and make it a bit more full of images as at the moment, there is a lot of empty space. 

Aperture/Iso Control

During this experiment, I changed the aperture and Iso settings on the camera. This enabled me to get more or less of the photograph in focus and/or get a grainy effect on the pictures. I feel that this went well and it was a very useful skill to have gained.
